AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Donald Trump, the U.S. president, making a clear retreat from his threats to destroy Iran's infrastructure, called for a two-week ceasefire in the war against Iran.
He wrote in a post, “I agree to stop the bombing and attacks on Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a mutual ceasefire!”
He added, “We have received a ten-point proposal from Iran, and we believe it is an acceptable basis for negotiation.”
The U.S. president claimed, “Almost all points of past disagreement between the United States of America and Iran have been agreed upon, but the two-week period will allow the final and complete agreement to be finalized.”
